Friendship #1

Mouthed incantations suggest
an annulment of congruity,

See the ocean’s breadth,
but swell yourself
within its depths,

Bloated as the sun
absorbs the night,
as sky absorbs sea,

As we pierce, together,
the bleak horizon’s shell,
and enter into cacophony;

Into the laughter of sequential stars.
